Day 8

Today was fishing day!

8:00am on the Broad River

...and can you say cold! Air temp around 45, wind chill and you're around 35 or so
going 30-40 mph across the water in a boat and it's somewhere in the mid 20's

once again can you say cold...

However when we were still and fishing it was absolutely beautiful! We were fishing for Reds. Limit is one per person so we kept the 3 biggest ones that were allowed. You are only allowed to keep a Red that is between 15 and 23 inches. All 3 of ours were around 21 inches. All in all we caught around 25-30 fish. It was a blast!

Cold hell yes, would I do it again, absolutely!

Captain Josh and a future dinner!

  1. This was a GREAT day - Cold, but Great! And the Red Drum we caught were delicious! Thanks, to Cpt. Josh, and thanks, too, to Yvonne, for arranging the day!
