JMB at the beach
No it's not an iPhone photo. I like my iPhone but this is real film. What's the difference? I had to shoot it, process it, which I did do myself because I used to own a lab way back whenever, scan it, and then work on it for the final look. What's the payoff? I know how to do all this and I can print it really large if I want. Of course I will keep snapping with the iPhone also, I just love it all!

First flowers of the year
I've always been inspired by the abstract expressionist painters and have wanted my images of flowers to not necessarily imitate but to have that inspiration in them. I'm getting closer to what I want. This is an ongoing personal project that I started about 10 years ago. Here is a work print from the latest which I shot earlier today. I'll post more after I have done a little editing. Let me know what you think.
